Private Fishing Charters
LET'S GO FISHING!
When you book a Private Fishing Charter with Go Fish Kauai you are booking an awesome experience! You will have the entire boat to yourselves which makes the fishing just that much more fun! Your fishing party can consist of a total of six (6) people (fishing or not) which allows you to take turns at your leisure or each person can be assigned a pole whatever you like!

Unlike Shared Fishing Charters there is just one fee for the boat for the time you would like to purchase. We offer four hour, six hour and eight hour deep sea sport fishing charters daily out of Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor in Lihue on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.

About the Trip:
Daily deep sea fishing charters depart 6:00AM from Nawiliwili small boat harbor. Just bring your food and drink for the day; large coolers and ice are already on board. Fishing tackle and gear are included. We welcome seasoned anglers or those with no previous fishing experience.
Our daily morning briefing covers the details you need to get ready for that first bite! Kauai offers access to some of the best offshore natural fishing grounds in Hawaii to catch big game fish such as Pacific Blue Marlin, Ahi (yellowfin tuna), Mahi Mahi (dorado), Ono (wahoo), and Aku (skipjack tuna).

New Hawaii Marine Fishing License Requirement
As of May 2, 2024, all non-residents aged 15 and older must have a Hawai‘i recreational marine fishing license to fish in ocean waters—including from shore, boat, kayak, or while spearfishing.
License Fees for Non-Residents:

1-Day License – $20

7-Day License – $40

Annual License – $70
Purchase your license online at fishing.hawaii.gov. For your convenience, QR codes are available on the boat to make same-day purchasing quick and easy.
Important: The DLNR does not offer refunds for canceled trips, so we strongly recommend you wait to purchase your license on the day of your charter in case of weather or scheduling changes.
All funds go toward supporting Hawaii’s marine conservation efforts including reefs, fish habitats, and ocean sustainability.

Fishing vessels do not offer stable footing while at sea.
If you have ANY underlying medical issues, physical restrictions or limitations that affect your abilty to stand, walk or otherwise brace yourself while on the boat please contact Gina@GofishKauai.com before you book your trip.
Examples - Hurt limbs, hands, feet, neck or back.
If you show up the day of your trip with obvious physical impairments we will not be able to let you board the vessel.
